This replaces American National Property & Casualty Company in that state. Policies written through Hallmark will not immediately be subject to the New Jersey Guaranty Fund surcharge, as Hallmark has not received any assessments at this point in that state. If, and when, such surcharges need to be reintroduced, we will provide notice accordingly. This moves us an important step closer to representing our own companies in the states where we write business - there are only eight states remaining.
